ABSTRACTS - SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM - REGISTRATION
Late-breaking abstracts can be submitted no later than 21 May 2012.

Only proposals for poster or virtual presentations can be submitted at this stage (abstract submission for oral presentation is now closed) Abstracts can be one-page long (at most) and must be submitted using the conference management tool: Abstract Submission

Accepted late-breaking abstracts of registered participants will be included in the Book of Abstracts (although they could be included in a specific section)

All authors who submitted abstracts before 9 May should have received formal notifications of abstract acceptance/rejection. The definitive version of the scientific program will be available by early June (participants will be informed about it by email). And a preliminary version of this program will be available on this website by mid-May.

The scientific program will start on Wednesday 20 June 2012 at 11:00 AM, although there will be a registration period from 9:00 to 11:00 AM (in any case, attendees will be able to register at the secretariat desk at any time during the conference). The conference will finish on Friday 22 June 2012 around 7:00 PM.

 

Deadline for registration: 23 May 2012

Registration is mandatory for ALL participants (including onsite registrants). All those works with no author registered by 23 May 2012 will not be included in the scientific program. Should you be unable to register in time, please email us no later than 23 May 2012 so that your accepted work can be included in the program. All registration details can be checked at the Registration section

ACCOMMODATION - VISA
Information about hotels with which the EMR2012 Conference has agreed reduced fees is available in the Accommodation section.

Given the limited number of rooms reserved for the Conference, participants are strongly recommended to book their accommodation as soon as possible (preferably one month before the conference takes place. Later, it can be more difficult and expensive to find appropriate accommodation)



All participants coming from countries whose nationals need a visa to enter Spain should have received the official signed and stamped invitation letters. We strongly recommend early visa application at the corresponding Spanish Embassy or Consulate. If you need further assistance from our side, please let us know as soon as possible.

Welcome to the National FP7 Information Day on: Environment including Climate Change in FP7

The last calls within the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP7) opened in July 2012. This year´s budget of 8 billion euro is the largest since the start of FP7 in 2007.

The 30 August, VINNOVA and Stockholm University are arranging an Information Day about the last call for research funding within FP7, Work Programme 2013 Environment including Climate Change - WP2013 ENV. The first deadline for proposals is in mid-October 2012.

The objective of WP2013 ENV is the sustainable management of the environment and its resources through advancing our knowledge of the interaction between the climate, biosphere, ecosystems and human activities and in an integrated way developing new technologies, tools and services.

The Information Day is specifically aimed at stakeholders at universities, research institutes, industries and public bodies, who are actively seeking research funding for collaborative projects within the field. It is important to note that the participation of SMEs is especially encouraged this year.
