1st Workshop on Forest-based bioeconomy infrastructure, Leuna, Germany
Fraunhofer CBP and VTT welcome you to the ERIFORE First Workshop on 6th September, 2016 in Leuna, Germany.
The aim of the workshop is to present an overview of European forest based research infrastructures and to identify key development needs and bioeconomy value networks.
ERIFORE is a Horizon 2020 funded project with the aim to establish a cooperation network between European open access research infrastructures in the field of forest based bioeconomy (www.erifore.eu).
The project utilizes a participatory approach to involve a variety of actors in a dialogue on the research infrastructure capabilities and future development needs in order to establish a strong collaboration network in Europe.
Within the workshop ERIFORE teams will present data on European forest-based bioeconomy infrastructure in the areas of biomass sourcing, biomass pretreatment, chemical and biotechnological conversion as well as downstream processing. Gathering together main research institutions and key industrial players active in this field opens up a unique opportunity for networking, discussion of future strategies and exploitation of knowledge.
