We warmly welcome you to the 2nd open ERIFORE Workshop on 27 March, 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden.
ERIFORE is a Horizon 2020 funded project with the aim to establish a cooperation network between European open access research infrastructures in the field of forest based bioeconomy(www.erifore.eu).The project uses a participatory approach to involve a variety of actors in a dialogue on the research infrastructure capabilities and future development needs in order to establish a strong collaboration network in Europe.
The aim of the workshop is to present an overview of European forest based research infrastructure capabilities and emerging concepts to response plans for future infrastructure needs. Initial business and governance models for alternative research infrastructure cooperation arrangements will be discussed. In addition, the team of ERIFORE will present three selected case studies assessing the capability of European forest-based bioeconomy research infrastructure in new bio-based product development. Gathering the main research institutions and key industrial players active in this field opens up a unique opportunity for networking, discussion of future strategies and exploitation of knowledge.
